Stress, unpleasant memories of the past, or fear of future situations can be a major obstacle in our healing.
During these times of stress, the two hemispheres of the mind cannot work properly.
Under normal circumstances, stress moments are resolved by sleeping during the sleeping hours. During the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) phase, our eyes move horizontally while they work on our problems.
The steady increase of the level of stress has become a constant for many people, causing improper processing of these experiences during sleep. The situation could be compared to a scratched CD.
Wingwave simulates REM phases while the client is awake. Customers’ eyes follow the hand movements of the trainer and, meanwhile, the emotions that are stagnated can be released. Eye movements can be replaced by music and light touches on the knees or shoulders. The hemispheres of the mind work together to bring a coordinated way out, and emotions are brought out again without the negative emotions. The brain finds new solutions and new resources during the process.
How is a Wingwave session done?
